Now let's get started. What is a camp? It used to be common for children to attend a summer camp in a rural location. Children would take part in basic camping activities, such as swimming in the lake, learning to make a fire and making crafts from wood. The people leading such camps are called camp counselors.

Now there are summer camps dedicated to different kinds of sports, to chess, to classical music, to science, to robotics, to theater, you name it.
