The most famous Chinese animal is the panda. Pandas are wild bears and they are black and white. Pandas often eat bamboo. They can eat 12 kg of bamboo at one time. Bamboo helps pandas stay healthy. When a panda is born, it is not black and white, it is pink and it cannot see for six to eight weeks. Pandas are clever animals but can be shy.
